Is there a way for my child to use Apple Pay? We live in Europe, so Apple Cash is not the solution in this case. Nowadays that basically digital money is used, I do not understand why our children are excluded. I would prefer him to use Apple wallet instead of carrying the plastic debit card. Also I wouldn’t like to change his age into a false one. Is there a way to add his debit card with my consent?

The ability for a child to use Apple Wallet varies by region and age. In the US, children must be at least 13 years old to set up wallet.

Contact your government regulatory agency and/or financial institutions. Most age limits are derived from internet protection acts or other regulation.

I am aware of the differences between the regions but maybe it is time for these age limits to be revised.
