My internal mic is picking up a loud static sound

My Macbook Air M1 Chip's internal microphone is not working properly. It's picking up a loud static noise. Here is a voice memo recording as I was testing my microphone: https://www.icloud.com/notes/09b6kinEeusZFEwK5iH4_znfw#4108_29.

When I restart my mac, it works normally but after 1-2 minutes it only hears that loud static noise. When I check it in the system preferences it appears like this:

I've tried everything except starting it in safe mode. Does anyone have the same problem? What should I do to fix this? It's getting really frustrating. I did not have this problem before, it only appeared around 3-4 months of using it.
