Translate app stuck on "Download Offline Languages"

What might one do when Translate app gets stuck on "Download Offline Languages?"

I’ve got the same issue on iOS 17 and did everything Apple help suggests apart from a clean iOS install that I’m just not going to waste my time doing. The simplest solution is to delete the Apple app and use Google Translator app instead. No issues with their language packs and it works just as well if not better anyway. Sorry Apple but you do sometimes suck.

Download All Languages:

This is the Translate App. Reportedly, after you have downloaded all of these languages (including English), this screen will go away. Translate app doesn't work if you download languages Apple ios has a major bug - Apple Community
