Opening Google Chrome on MacBook

When I open Google Chrome on my MacBook, it opens in a tiny box rather than the full screen so I have to hit two more keys to get it to open fully. How can I make it open fully from the start?

I asked this question in the Google Help forum, and they sent me here. Thanks.
