An iPhone?

The easiest way would be to turn on iCloud Photos. This automatically syncs photos between your iPhone and your iCloud Library (and, by extension, to any other device that's logged in to the same iCloud account).

Second option would be to connect your iPhone to your Mac using a USB cable - assuming you're running a recent OS version, the iPhone should connect and you have options to sync files between the phone and your Mac.

If you're not using an iPhone, someone else will have to chime in on your options.
