Move Imported pictures to library

When I download photos from my camera's card they go into imports but don't show in library. How do I get them to show in library. Everything this site says is that they should, but they don't.

Imports isn't a place, it's a list. If items are on that list then they have been imported and are in the lIbrary. A usual cause of not being able to find them is if the camera's date and time are off, as the library will file them by that information.

Simple solution: right click on an image in Imports and select the 'Show in All Photos' command.
