May 10th, 2023 - Apple just upgraded their iPhone yesterday to IOS 16.4.1 (a) Now my iMac Catalina macOS Version 10.15.7 will not send SMS text iMessages from my iMac It was working yesterday. It does work on my iPad and iPhone Please Apple fix this!
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15
Try the following:
On your iPhone, open Settings ➡️ Messages ➡️ Text Message Forwarding ➡️ Turn OFF the switch that corresponds to your iMac. After about 2 minutes, set the switch back ON again.
Now try and send a SMS Message from your iMac.
