Not receiving SMS on my MacBook Pro.
I am not receiving Messages on my MacBook Pro. I recently reset my iPhone, and since then, I have not received Messages on the MacBook.

you can only receive ANY text measles, including SMS messages, when you have an iPhone AND:
• it is powered on
• it is within range of adequate cellar service -- Wi-Fi alone will NOT suffice
• you have an iPhone text messaging plan active.
• your iPhone is using the SAME Apple-ID as your Mac
• your iPhone is set to forward text messages to your exact Mac
Once all conditions are met and still not working, it has been known to take one or more resets of settings /computer on both the Mac and the iPhone to finally make the connection all the way through. Once connected, it generally "sticks".
