I was attempting to transfer info from Mac Book Pro to my new mini mac. The mini mac is now locked up and won't respond. All I see on the screen is a photo of myself and my name.

Do you see a mouse pointer? If so, click on the photo and it should let you log in.
If it does not respond when clicking on the photo or there is no mouse pointer, then press and hold the power button until it turns off, then press it again to turn it back on, and see if it let's you log in.
