Why am I getting request timed out with my apple music since my latest IOS update?

An issue like this could be network related. First check to be sure that your device is connected to the internet. Check these steps if your device is not connecting as expected: If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network


If your device is online and other apps can connect, try these next steps to be sure the Apple Music app is online: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services. You’ll also want to update and restart your devices following these instructions:

Hi! Don't know if you are still having this issue.


After contacting Apple Support, I was able to narrow down that the cause was network related. It was happening while on cellular data.


After resetting Network settings via Settings < General < Transfer or Reset iPhone < Reset < Reset Network Settings, the issue was resolved. Looks like the issue (for me at least) was an issue with my Cellular Data.
