Apple Music

Since I’ve updated to iOS 16.1.1, Apple Music doesn’t work well. Many songs are not playing and there’s a pop up screen saying ‘the request timed out’. Anyone with same issue? And how do I fix that?

Since your post, iOS 16.1.2 has been released. We'd like to have your update your iPhone, then test to see if the issue is resolved. Updates can often resolve issues like yours: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


If the update doesn't resolve the issue, we'd like to have you determine the answers to these questions:


Does this occur with streaming and downloaded music?


Does this occur on Wi-Fi, cellular data, or both?


If the error occurs with both streaming and downloaded music while using Wi-Fi or cellular data, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly: Contact - Official Apple Support
