Hi,
I got this brand new LG 55UQ7070ZUE smart TV. For some reason, my Apple TV turns the TV off, but won't turn it on. The HDMI-CEC setting on the TV is enabled, the "Control TVs and Receivers" setting on the Apple TV is on. I have two HDMI ports, HDMI 1 and HDMI ARC, tried it on both, and still, the Apple TV only turns the TV off but never on.
Any solutions? Thanks!

It's right under the "SIMPLINK" / HDMI-CEC toggle that you've already enabled under connection settings. Also turn on Auto Device Detection while you're in there.
Huh. My LG's a bit older and the settings menu looks way different. Well, my curiosity caused me to google it. Maybe this reddit thread applies where it came down to an audio setting? It's definitely on the TV side.

My (older :-) LG TV also has an "Auto Power Sync" settings switch. You want that turned on too.

My audio is the Homepod. That's controlled by the Apple TV itself.
