App store ask to buy

Hi, so we have ask to buy turned on for our phones which means that a request is sent to the parent/ guardian of the family which they can approve or decline. However, recently, there has been some sort of bug. The requests are going through, and appearing on the parent’s phone in the imessage app, but when you click on it it just takes you to the app store and asks you if you want to download it yourself. There is not a button that simply says accept/decline and there is no obvious way to do either of those using different methods either. This means that the child can not download any apps or games. Has anyone had the same problem, and if so, how can it be fixed?

In the meantime, if a parent or guardian is nearby, you can tap "approve it in person" and they can approve the purchase directly from your device.
