Find My > iPhone 11 and AirPods Pro generation 2

I’m having trouble doing the green circle on find my for my AirPods pro gen 2 that tells you how many feet away you are and if they are near by or far. I have an iPhone 11 and I have the latest iOS. How do I fix it?
