Bug in Mail app Apple

Lately I experience a bug in the Mail app from Apple. It often happened that an email that I send isn’t send at all. It’s also not in another folder like Drafts. It’s just gone like I never sent anything. At the moment of sending indent see anything special. I find out later that it’s gone when instaat wondering why I haven’t had answer yet. Do more people experience this? I’ve got an iPhone 12 with iOS 16.4.1. I already experienced it before I updated to the latest OS.

My email is constantly saying that my password is incorrect when it isn’t, I’ve changed it twice and still won’t accept any password and the only email that works is iCloud! What a shock!

I can’t get my work emails and I can’t send any emails using my work email address.

now it won’t delete emails, you delete them and they reappear.

Apple just claims I’ve entered email in wrong but I have not and as the emails now won’t delete them Apple is the problem I have an iPhone 15 so not an old model and it was fine up until two weeks ago!

sort it out apple and stop denying there is a problem!

There is a feature that allows you to unsend emails; it does this by delaying sending for 10, 20, or 30 seconds. Go to Settings/Mail/Undo Send Delay to choose one, or turn it off.

That said, if you are in the habit of killing apps after you exit the app by going to the quick-launch (multitasking) screen and swiping up on the app, and you kill the mail app before the message is sent, then it will be erased and never sent.
