Outdated iOS and short iPhone SE battery life?

Hi. I have an iPhone SE (2016) that I’ve had since 2016. Overall I like it. It’s running on iOS 15.7.3. Does this put my phone at a risk of being hacked? Also my battery drains within 5 hours of use, and I want to travel abroad, and I don’t want my phone to be dead if I’m trying to get somewhere. Is it recommended that I get a newer iPhone or can I work around these problems? - outdated & 6 hour battery life

No – iOS 15 still receives security fixes, the most recent being 15.7.3 issued in January:

No – iOS 15 still receives security fixes, the most recent being 15.7.3 issued in January:
