To help isolate the printing issue, we would like to see if it continues in safe mode. Booting to safe mode will do a few things to help us on this path. First, during boot, safe mode runs a check on your startup disk, and makes repairs where it can. Then, once booted, safe mode disables certain software and processes that might be causing a conflict. To learn more about using safe mode, how to boot to it, and what to do with your findings, please see the steps in How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support.
if the issue continues in safe mode, try a new user account: Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support. This will help us determine if something specific to your user account is causing an issue.
