SD reader not working iOS 16 iphone

I used to be able to use it fine, but recently it won’t work. I plugged it in check in photos and nothing. I also checked in Files and nothing there either. Can someone please help? Or apple please update to an new iOS where it will be as is use to be?

I noticed that since I upgrade to iOS 16 it no longer shows up on my iPhone 13 mini. I’ve tried it on my daughters iPhone 12 iOS 16, same issue. Tried it on my spouses iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 15 and it works. Anyone else has had issues and does the newer SD to lightning suffer from the same problem?

SD card reader works on iPhone 16 but on on iPhone 12 mini So i transfer images to the media team for my football club during the games however recently my phone has not been picking up the sd card connected via my reader on my iphone 12 mini i have tried a different reader and the same thing happened but when i gave my sd card to someone with a usb c reader for an iphone 16 and plugged it into his phone it picked it up straight away what could be the issue causinv this? SD card reader not detected on iPhone with iOS16.1 Hello, I am trying to get my new Apple SD card reader to work on my iPhone X but it won't be detected. The card is not showing in the Files app, and the card reader itself does not show up in Settings > General > About. It works great on my wife's iPhone 8s with iOS15. Tried updating iOS from 16 to 16.1, rebooting it, unplugging and replugging it hundreds of times, checked Accessories in Settings > Face ID & Passcode, cleaned my iPhone's plug, nothing worked. I'm running out of ideas and as a photographer, really need that card reader to work. Thank you very much in advance! Raphaël
