My & my husband’s avatars have been switched on my phone…

We do have our own Apple IDs. They are different ids and different passwords.

originally, he had his avatar & I had mine. In our settings, AND on our find my phone apps, our own avatars showed up on our own phones.

some time ago, his avatar replaced mine on my phone’s settings. I don’t know why and neither of us had changed anything to affect this as far as I know.

a couple days ago, I changed the avatar on my settings back to an avatar of me. Now it shows my avatar on my settings, BUT IT shows my avatar on my FIND MY IPHONE app on my husbands dot.

his phone shows his avatar on his settings, and just my initial on my dot for his FIND MY iPhone app.

any ideas how can I get these avatars straightened around?

It seems like the Apple ID photos appear incorrectly only in the Find My app currently, is that correct?

Your Apple ID photo appears on your iCloud.com homepage and in Settings (on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) or System Settings or System Preferences (on your Mac). If you’re part of a Family Sharing group, others in the family can see your Apple ID photo in their list of family members.

1. On iCloud.com, click your Apple ID photo or in the top-right corner of the window, then click iCloud Settings.

2. Click Change Apple ID Photo, then do one of the following:

• Drag an image file onto the photo.

• Click “Browse your device for a new image,” then follow the onscreen instructions.

To change other settings related to your Apple ID, go to the Apple ID account website.
