Macbook pro cursor glitch on second display
I'm having a new persistent issue where the cursor on my second display glitches on some website interfaces. This doesn't happen on the laptop display, just the second monitor. I also haven't noticed on native apps, just websites. For example (shown in this screen recording), when trying to resize a textbox in Google Slides the cursor distorts when hovering over the corners/borders. I've tried everything I can think of...any ideas?? Details below.
Macbook Specs:
- MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Mid-2014
- OS Big Sur 11.7.3
- 2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
- 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB
Display:
- ASUS PB278 Display
- 27-inch (2560 × 1440)
What I've tried to troubleshoot:
- Restarting the Mac
- Using different mouses
- Switching between Chrome and Safari
- Resetting the SMC, PRAM, NVRAM
- Rebooting in safe mode
- Trying different monitor cables (HDMI and Mini Display)
- Disabling all Safari extensions
