Cable end too big

New cables won’t plug into phone. This is older one that fits.

iPhone 14 pro max lightning cable i just got a new iPhone 14 pro max. the included lightning to USB C cable does not fit into the port on the phone. it is too loose, like it's the wrong cable. if anyone knows the answer to this please let me know. do i need a different cable??

then it's because it's not meant for iphones but is an usb-c which is meant for ipads and other things like appletv remote and such
