Alarm vibrate on Apple Watch

I enjoy tracking my sleep so like to wear my Apple Watch to bed. The issue is that if I am wearing my watch while my morning alarm goes off, the watch vibrates and my phone does not play the alarm. This vibration does not wake me up. I have slept through it every time and have resorted in having to not wear the watch overnight if I have to wake up early the next morning. As someone with sleep issues this is a huge pain as I always sleep in a lot so frequently require an alarm, but I would like to be able to track my sleep due to medical reasons. Is there a way I can change the settings so my Apple Watch does not go off for my morning alarm?

2. It's my understanding that you can remove your watch then put it back on except DON'T unlock it, leave it locked. I'm not sure if all of the Sleep data will still be recorded, but I have to think that it would or why would they have came up with this workaround, right?

It does seem to record the sleep data. My watch band sometimes loosens as I sleep and the watch locks. I realize this when the alarm goes off on my phone in the morning rather than my watch vibrating. But the sleep data still seems to be there.

Unfortunately, no.

There are things that you can try though!

1. Go into the Watch app on your phone. Go into Sounds & Haptics. Halfway down the screen you will see a section called "Haptics". There are two choices for the checkmark, "Default" and "Prominent". Make sure that "Prominent" has the checkmark. There is quite a difference between the two settings.

While you're on the Sounds & Haptics screen, take a look at the volume slider at the top of the screen. You could try turning up the Alert volume.

For a more permanent fix, you'll need to fill out and submit this form requesting that watch/phone notifications become a user preference option and setting.
