App Store no longer present after factory reset.

Hi, at some point I noticed the App Store is no longer on my daughter’s iPad. Search came up blank as well. To rectify I tried resetting Home Screen to default layout and nothing would happen so I resorted to full factory reset. After the factory reset I managed to download 2 apps and then the App Store crashed. So I restarted the iPad and once again the App Store is missing amd unsearchable!

I am at a loss, without App Store I cannot update my Apps or install new ones rendering it useless. It is an iPad Air 2 updated to version 15.7.2 (highest available). Please help me avoid a trip to the Genius Bar!

Another point - AppleID on this iPad is my young daughter’s so parental controls are in place.

iPad Air 2, iPadOS 15

The App Store app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the home screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.

Also note the Search window at the top of the App Library.

Another reason for it not being visible is due to a restriction on purchasing. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap iTunes & App Store Purchases, choose a setting and set to Allow.
