Lightning to HDMI adapter model A1438

There was a firmware update a couple of days ago and now adapter doesn't display video. Is there a fix?

The device had been working since August. I use it to connect my ipad to my television (I can't remember the brand of TV and I am traveling) in order to mirror my ipad screen on my TV. It was working until the firmware udpate. I had updated the Ipad to OS to16.2 a few days before the problem and the device still worked. But shortly after the Ipad OS update, when I plugged in the adapter I saw a notification that there was a firmware update and that was when the video stopped being transmitted to the TV. Thanks for any help you can provide. Unfortunately, I will not be able to test solutions until I return in late February.

Not a problem if you can't continue troubleshooting until late February, but in the meantime, we've released new software. iPadOS 16.3 came out so we'd suggest installing it when you get a chance to and then test things out when you get back.
