If your Lightning to HDMI adapter is no longer working, the first thing we would recommend is to restart your iPhone as well as the connected display. This refreshes the software and firmware and can resolve issues like this. Here's how: Restart your iPhone


If this continues after restarting both devices, then let's narrow this down further to isolate what's causing this to occur. Follow these steps next in order to do so:

  1. Make sure the connected HDMI cable works with other connected devices
  2. Remove any additional extension cables, converters or other adapters between the display and iOS device
  3. Test all ports on the display (if multiple are available)
  4. Try with multiple apps to isolate to a specific app


Let us know the results of those tests so that we can assist further.

Hello Jerryzbeer,


We appreciate those details. If this is an officially branded Apple adapter, make sure your Prime Video and Paramount+ apps are updated so that you have the most optimized version of the apps to work with the iPhone.


We also recommend keeping your iPhone updated as that will assure you have cleared out any minor software issues and are running the most current version.
