Can anyone explain why my child’s screen time resets each day? It worked properly until I upgraded to the 14 Pro Max. Now every single day, the screen time shuts itself off and all settings are reset. I’ve changed the passcode, set the screen time up on both phones, turning phones on/off. I have tried to problem solve, but now I’m lost. Any solutions?

If you haven't done so yet, make sure the affected iPhone is running the latest iOS version. Updates often include fixes, and installing the latest software can help with overall performance: Update your iPhone or iPad. If an update is available, be sure to create a backup before installing it.
Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

You are not alone! It is a “known issue” at this point, but Apple hasn’t done anything (to my knowledge) to alert parents. I’ve worked with apple support and they have no answers. They say just look for updates.
In the meantime my kids randomly have full access to the internet and apps- they can change passwords, chat with strangers, search for explicit content, you name it! Apple needs to inform its consumers! They know it’s happening but keep shrugging!
It’s very frustrating. I’ve set up a calendar alert to check every day to see if screen time is activated. There is also a glitch with the “one more minute”. If he selects one more minute it turns off the screen time and as you said, has full and unrestricted access.
