Emails getting stuck in outbox randomly after iOS 16 update

Me and many users in my organization have started facing issue with the Mail app on iOS devices after iOS 16 update. Whenever we send emails from our iOS devices, randomly many mails get stuck in Outbox. We then have to force close the Mail app and reopen it and the mails go. This has become very frustrating and important time bound emails gets missed. The mailboxes are on Microsoft 365. This happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. This happens only on devices with iOS 16 and works fine on older iOS 15.7. This really needs to be looked into.

This is happening on different iOS devices running iOS 16 that are in various different Wi-Fi networks and on different mobile carriers too. So no, not really an Internet connectivity issue. The only common factor here is iOS 16 as it works fine on iOS 15.7.

This is clearly the internet connectivity issue.

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

For your Internet connection.

Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

However --> Connect iPhone to the Internet - Apple Support

Definitely NOT a connectivity problem…Definitely an IOS 16.3.1 problem.

Not a connectivity issue and only happens on my iPad Pro 2nd generation and not my iPhone SE. In addition to clear the outbox emails are being sent twice. It started with the latest update.
