I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Lately while watching YouTube videos it struggles to playback 1080p HD video. It stutters, pauses, and reverts to 360p. It’s annoying, and for a $1000+ phone it shouldn’t happen. I’ve closed the app, all apps, uninstalled and reinstalled YouTube and nothing works.

If this isolation is only happening with YouTube, we recommend checking to see if there are any settings in the app that allows to choose the maximum resolution and not have this automatically change. This will not only help, but if there are issues, you can see if this is a network congested problem as this will rely heavily on your network. You can further make sure to have the Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points.
