HomePod Mini Skipping Songs and the first few seconds of songs

im having a very frustrating time with my HonePod mini. it will randomly skip songs and skip the first few seconds of songs and in tiered of it. i've already tried resetting it multiple times, i’ve looked for an update but in fully up to date (version 16.2) my phone is on the latest IOS, i’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in several times and nothing is working. someone please help me.

I cannot think of anything obvious to suggest in the way of fixes, but assuming it is a software glitch of some sort you should let Apple know about it via Feedback - HomePod - Apple.
