Disappearing cursor

When I exercise every morning I play my iTunes music library. I enable the visualizer (command+t) and the cursor disappears as it should. When I'm done I escape from the visualizer (command+t) and return to the library. The cursor is not visible in the library like it should be. If I run the invisible cursor to the top of the screen and click the mouse it returns! Apple support shared my screen and could not solve the problem. This happened shortly after installing Ventura 13.1. They checked settings and created a "test account" and could not find the problem. I reinstalled the OS to no avail.

Hi Stu_H,

Welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience with the Community.

You may want to send the feedback to those who works on the software, behind the scenes.

They will likely not reply, yet your feedback will reach those who can make changes.

If others are reporting a similar experience, the issue may be addressed in a future update.

There's a web-form for feedback:

Feedback - iTunes - Apple

All the best :-)

Thank you. I may be wrong, yet seems it may be a software bug, Stu, as the experts got nowhere with solving it.

Whether the issue is widespread, or just an issue on your MacBook Air, only those working behind the scenes, with the software, and in receipt of feedback from those on the various Apple models, and MacOS versions, may know.
