Is there a way to connect the USB-C output from my 2021 Ipad pro to the digital in of my receiver (prefere Toslink above SP/DIF). I’d like to play Hi-ress lowloss audio from apple music on my NAD amplifier. Preferably without a DAC sins te NAD has already a very good DAC inside.
I only don’t know how to get a digital audio stream from my Ipad Pro USB-C connector.

Play audio

If you need to play audio through the USB-C port to other speakers or headphones, connect using the Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter (sold separately).
