Speaker turn off automatically after update

After updating my iPhone SE 2020 to 16.2 iOS my phone speaker automatically gets turned off randomly and also voice gets muted in middle of the conversations. This is happening very often. Any solve for the issue.

What iOS version were you on prior to iOS 16.2?



Many users who have updated to iOS 16 and above must have a similar issue if the issues stated by you are due to the iOS.

Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing. 



With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.

I believe this is a bug, as it is also happening to me.

I just updated my SE 2022 to 16.2 and the same thing is happening to me. I do have an Apple Watch that is hooked to Bluetooth. WHEN I TURN BLUETOOTH OFF ON THE PHONE FOR THE WATCH, MY PHONE SPEAKER WORKS FINE. I’m waiting for a reply to my ticket, but seeing that you submitted a ticket in December and still do not have resolution, makes me a little nervous.
