My child is requesting to buy an app, but I am not getting notifications on my phone. I get requests for more screen time. I have restarted my phone and child’s iPad. I have iOS 16.1.2. My child has iPadOS 16.1.1.

Make sure you haven't disabled notifications.
Sometimes it helps to have the devices involved take a fresh look at settings:
- Try signing out of accounts and back in again.
If a problem persists, particularly over several days, try contacting Apple for assistance:
