how do i order photos by date on ios 16

New to iPhone. I just want my photos sorted in date order on my phone. Is that too much to ask? How???? So frustrated.

Organizing photos by date in iOS 18.3 I downloaded IOS 18.3 thinking the problem of organizing photos BY DATE TAKEN was goi g to get fixed, but it didn't. I got sent about 45 photos taken in 2015 and I saved them, now they are showing in recently taken as being taken last. I know it seems like a minor thing, but when trying to find pictures in a hurry this is not helping. Is there a way in which I can sort pictures by date taken? I don't' find any option in the new update or in my last 1os 18.1 either. Please help. If anyone has a way to do this it will be greatly appreciated. Order of iPhone photos on Windows PC Hi! :) I have a question concerning the order of downloaded photos on my Windows PC. So, I realized, that as soon as I download photos from my iCloud to my Windows PC, the order is completely messed up due to the weird photo captions. Also, the date is updated to the import date, meaning I cannot sort them by the date they were taken. Is there any way to fix this without having to do it for every photo individually? I really need a way to make space on my phone. Does anyone maybe have other tips? Thanks in advance! :) Best, Lena

Photos is organized into Library, For You, Albums, and Search.

Albums

Open Photos.
Go to Albums and tap the Add button .
Tap New Album. Type an album name, tap Save, then choose the photos and videos that you want to add.
Tap Done.

Organize and find your photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod ...
