Why won't my hdmi to lightning connection work anymore to show video on a monitor from my iPhone. It used to work just fine

HDMI to lightning adaptor used to allow me to watch videos on an external monitor from my iPhone 13. Now it has stopped working. We are doing nothing different. How do I troubleshoot this?

Ipad to monitor stopped working I have a 9th Gen iPad that I use to stream Zwift to a Dell computer monitor. It used to work flawlessly, then intermittently, and now not at all. I use the connector with lightning to the iPad, HDMI cord to the monitor HDMI and lightning to a power source. All I get from the monitor is a message saying there is no HDMI source. I have the HDMI input activated on the monitor. Suggestions?

iPhone XR running iOS 18.1.1 won’t connect to portable monitor My iPhone won’t connect to my portable monitor. I have an IPone Xr, running IOS 18.1.1. I have a new Lightning to Digital AV Adapter. If I put a lightning power cable in the AV adapter, the phone charges. I am trying to display my IPhone on new AOPEN 16PM1Q monitor. I tried 2 different new HDMI to HDMI cables. My laptop works fine with the monitor and both new HDMI cables. I have tried all the stepson the Apple website. No luck. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

We see that you are having some trouble viewing video with an HDMI to Lightning adapter. Let's restart the iPhone and also make sure that software is up to date:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
