Ipad to monitor stopped working

I have a 9th Gen iPad that I use to stream Zwift to a Dell computer monitor. It used to work flawlessly, then intermittently, and now not at all. I use the connector with lightning to the iPad, HDMI cord to the monitor HDMI and lightning to a power source. All I get from the monitor is a message saying there is no HDMI source. I have the HDMI input activated on the monitor. Suggestions?

As described, your HDMI Adapter, cable, or monitor, may have developed a fault. Tracing the issue will usually require systematic substitution of the Adapter and cable. You might also try using the monitor and cable with an alternative video source - as this may eliminate the monitor from the equation.

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test your iPad, Adapter and cable(s):
