iPhone 14 Pro - Voice breaking up on calls

Issue: When using my iphone 14 pro in our home, the person I am speaking with reports that my voice is breaking up and garbled to the point where they cannot hear me at all. I can hear them fine with no issue at my end. Doesn’t happen all the time but more often than not. This was never an issue with my iPhone X which is still in use in our home. Happens using Wifi or data (strong signal)

Action so far...

Settings >> Cellular >> Wi-Fi Calling >> turned on

Settings >> Cellular >> Cellular Data Options >> Voice & Data >> LTE (4th Generation)

Performed Apple Software update to 16.1.0.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

Hello RamBH,

If your mic is not working properly on phone calls, you can start with these steps: If the microphone on your iPod touch isn't working - Apple Support

You also specifically mentioned using your iPhone at home? Is this the only location you experience this in? If it is location specific, then the issue may be coming from the network and not the actual device.

You can also try refreshing the devices connection with the network to see if that helps. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults. Please read over what resetting the network settings does. Also, before you begin, we recommend creating a fresh backup just in case you hit the wrong button: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If you continue to have issues with call audio, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support

Cheers!
