iPhone 14 Pro Max Alien Robotic voice on calls

I have an issue with my brand new shiny $1,100 iPhone 14 Pro Max !! ha! I've had it for about a month. When I make calls I sound like a robot or an alien to the person on the other end. It's all the time, not just one here one there, it's all day long. I use it for work and I am constantly having to call people back or they just hang up and call me back. It's known amongst my department. My co-workers get a good laugh of how ridiculous I sound and just hang up and call me back. It's embarrassing on conference calls. I keep thinking it's my T-Mobile Service but doesn't appear so after reading hundreds of other threads about this similar issue. Also I was having the same problem on my iPhone 11 for about 6 months before turning it in for the 14 Pro Max in mid-October. So it must be due to a software issue or software upgrade or something, it's definitely an Apple issue. I've never heard anyone sound this way, it's always me sounding this way to others. I don't think there is anything I can even do?? I'm not trading my phone in for a refurbished used repaired one that will just do the same thing. I'm stuck with it. And it doesn't appear Apple cares. Please figure out a fix for this issue. There are alot of unhappy people out there using your expensive phones with a static issue from the 80's. If anyone knows of a fix please help. Thanks

Hello zakadoo,

Let's use the steps below to make sure this behavior isn't related to a complication with the microphone:

1. Open the Voice Memos app.
2. Tap the Record button , speak at the bottom of your phone, then stop the recording.
3. When you play back the memo, you should hear your voice clearly.

You can also find those steps in this resource: If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working

If you voice sounds clear in the memo, let's also check for any carrier updates: Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

1. Make sure that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
2. Tap Settings > General > About.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to install your carrier update.

That should help to further isolate any complications with your carrier's network.

If you still continue to experience that behavior, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support so they can look into this further: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
