How do you get notifications ( from your text messages) on both the iphone 11 Pro with ios 16 and apple watch SE 2nd generation when they are paired? Currently goes to Watch and not phone. Turging off Wrist Detection turns off all the important features of wearing the watch so not an option!

If you are using your phone, the notifications appear on the phone. While the phone is closed they appear on the watch. That is the design concept, with some exceptions.
