Reminders crashing

Just transferred from XS to 14 ProMax. Reminders transferred, but it crashes when I touch edit or settings.

Apple reminders very slow on macbook air My reminders app works fine on my iphone, but is very slow and laggy on my macbook air. I haven't been using it for very long, so I don't have a lot of deleted reminders. So I know that's not the problem. I've tried restarting the computer, the app, etc. Any other ideas?

Reminders in macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 is slow Reminders is syncing between my Mac, iPhone and iPad using iCloud, and on the Mac it is crazy slow. On launch it might take a minute before it shows current state, whereas phone and tablet are immediate. Updating status of a reminder (toggle doneness) makes it think a long time, changing view between Today, Scheduled, All, etc., causes long pause, etc. Something seems broken. If it was possible I'd remove and reinstall it, but I don't think it is. I've turned off then back on iCloud to get a fresh sync, which doesn't make a difference afterwards. Any advice is appreciated. I have 125 reminders, which seems like a small amount re syncing. Apple M1 Max, running Sonoma 14.1.1.

Deleted Reminders Still Appearing in Calendar Search Results After Reminder-Calendar Integration (with macOS 15.0, iOS 18 and iPadOS 18) Hi guys, since updating to macOS 15, iOS 18, and iPadOS 18, I’ve noticed that deleted reminders still show up in Calendar search results, despite being removed from the Reminders app. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, such as disabling and re-enabling iCloud Calendar sync on my iPhone and iPad, deleting and reinstalling the app, and restarting the devices, but the issue persists across all platforms. However, on macOS, restarting the computer temporarily resolves the issue, but it reoccurs when any reminder is deleted. The issue seems to be related to the Search/Spotlight cache because the deleted reminder doesn't appear when navigating to the relevant date in the Calendar; it only shows up in the search results. It would be great if there were cache clearing or similar troubleshooting options available on Apple devices for issues like this.

We'd like to help you find the best solution for your Reminders app crashing. A great step to start with is the steps in If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support. Before completing step 4, make sure your Reminders are synced with iCloud so that there is not a potential loss in data. If the app still crashes after all 4 steps, we would further suggest contacting Apple Support
