All of a sudden the trackpad stopped giving feedback when clicked, the cursor still moves and can click but no feeling of being clicked. Tried and checked all settings in the track pad preferences. Fully upgraded operating system to Ventura 13.0 and multiple restarts. Still no luck! Could this be a hardware fault? Macbook Pro is only just over 2 years old and barely used. Thanks

In my case, I wasn't able to click the track pad, it doesn't work at all, so I forced quit my MacBook Pro then reboot solve the issue.
Try to startup in Safe Mode, then normal boot could solve your issue.
Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
If it doesn't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports track pad related error.
Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support
If it doesn't help or error is reported, contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
