Facebook Messenger won't start om new iPad Pro?
Got a new iPad Pro 12,9” today (2021, 256GB, iOS 15.7 =newest). Everything is working perfectly, except Facebook Messenger. Starts up to a darkish background with a loading spinner at the center, and stays like this indefinitely (I waited for a very long time).
I tried:
- Restarting Messenger
- Restarting iPad
- Re-installing Messenger
- Offloading Messenger and re-installing Messenger
- Turning Wifi on and off
- Going to Airplane mode and back to normal
There are no Screentime- or parental restrictions, and there’s loads of available storage. There are no available updates for Messenger. Facebook app is logged in and works fine. Messenger works fine in all browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox). It’s just the native Messenger app (which I use alot normally) that simply won’t go past the darkish loading screen.
What can I do to get the Messenger app to behve as its supposed to? Really at the end of my line here, I feel I tried everything somewhat reasonable. What is going on?
