MacBook Air Screen Replacement Concern

Hey everybody, so recently my 2020 Macbook Air M1 with 8gb of ram and the M1 chips' screen cracked, and I bought a replacement screen to try and operate on myself. I put in the new display, everything seemed to be fine but nothing showed up on the screen and the Macbook itself would bootloop as you could hear the start-up sound. I plugged it into an external monitor, but nothing seemed to show up. I put it my old, broken monitor and the computer worked well as it was able to show up on my external monitor, and all the keys lit up. I'm curious as to what this issue could be, I'm assuming most likely it's an issue with the new display or if there's any special thing I need to do for the Mac to recognize it.

Apple does not provide replacement components to anyone other than authorized Apple repair facilities. That means the replacement screen you bought was either fraudulently represented as authentic, is not the correct part, or it's just broken.
