TimeCapsule amber lights continue to blink. I am trying to access my TimeCapsule Files. I am using a PC. I can not see my Time Capsule anymore in my system, so I can't access files. The Time Capsule has a blinking amber light. However, when I open the Airport Utility, it is green, but the picture of the capsule is amber light. Help I want my files.

Time to replace my Time Capsule. What are my best options? Loved the functionality of Time Capsule. All our Apple equipment backs up to it. iPad and iPhones are backed up to our Macs and those automatically back up to Time Capsule. Plus it is also a fantastic router. Unfortunately it is getting a bit long in the tooth and the hard drive is starting to make noise. I need a solution before it stops working. Options???

While transferring data from my Time Capsule to my MacBook While transferring data from my Time Capsule to my MacBook it feels like the machine is not doing anything. I have seen seeing "Looking for Incompatible Software" for the last 2 1/2 hours. Is this normal?

Hi,

Try to check your boot drive with Recovery mode > DiskUtility > Disk First Aid.

If it doesn't help, try to restore from the scratch again.
