bypass AU validation final cut pro

running FCP 10.6.4; it's stuck on "validating Audio Units".

i tried removing them all; opened FCP, clicked on 'validate on next launch' in FCP prefs. then quit the app, moved the AUs back to the components folder, opened FCP, and... stuck again.

i can remove them, but doing this every time seems counterproductive. and don't want to risk issues with logic pro.

there has to be a way to either skip the validation (i don't need to use the AUs in FCP), or manage them.

any ideas? tricks? or workarounds??
