Apple TV App will not load my library

I have worked with a specialist had a ticket provided logs but this was over 6 months ago and still no resolution or call back.


I have over 3k movies and when using the apple TV app on my appletv the library section on top which should show my owned movies will not load, it attempts and times out. This issue does not happen on my phone or ipad just appletv 4k device. I have seen other people comment same issue with large libraries is there anyway of getting this to work? I enjoy the library feature of showing 4k movies owned and that filter not available from the itunes movie app on device.

To help resolve this issue, update your Apple TV. Apple's updates contain software that is crucial to the operation go out iPhone. If the Apple TV is already up-to-date, restart it. Restarting can also help refresh the software and resolve minor issues. The steps below will show you how:

Update your Apple TV


Update Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD
1. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software.
2. If there's an update, select Download and Install. 
3. Wait for your Apple TV to download the update. Don't disconnect or unplug your Apple TV until the update completes.
After the update downloads, your Apple TV will restart, prepare the update, then install it. When the update is complete, your Apple TV will automatically restart again.



Restart Apple TV
Do any of the following:
• Press and hold both the Back  (second-generation Siri Remote) or  (first-generation Siri Remote) and TV   buttons on the Siri Remote until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly.
• Disconnect Apple TV from the power outlet, wait five seconds, then reconnect it.
• Open Settings  on Apple TV, go to System and select Restart.


If the issue persists, we recommend you Contact Apple for support and service.
