Metrics Not Showing in Apple Fitness in Airplay to the TV

I just received the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) and I was very excited to get it and also to start using Apple Fitness. I Love the watch, but when in Apple Fitness in Airplay, the metrics like heart rate, duration, etc are not displaying on the TV. They are there on my iphone 13 updated IOS 16, but not to the TV in Air Play.

I unpaired the watch, uninstalled the watch somftware from my iphone, reinstalled it, and still not displaying metrics when mirroing to the TV for Apple Fitness. My goal was to move from Peloton and Hydro rowing apps to just apple fitness, but not if the metrics will not mirror.

I really hope this can be resolved.

We understand you're not seeing Fitness+ metrics when using AirPlay to an AirPlay 2 compatible 3rd party TV. We'll be happy to help out.

This could potentially be due to the third party device in question. It's unclear if every device capable of Airplay 2 will display the workout metric data.
