Future option to launch Fitness+ session from Apple TV without Watch?

Will there be an option to launch an Apple TV Fitness+ session without the watch, or is this new feature going to remain only on iPhone/iPad? I use the Apple TV almost exclusively, so I'm hopeful that the non-watch option becomes available there too.

Apple watch and Apple TV disconnect Since the latest Apple watch update, Fitness app on my Apple TV has trouble finding and maintaining a connection with my Apple watch. I have to bring my wrist right up to the Apple TV for the watch to initially be recognized, and if I don’t stay within a few feet during the workout the Apple TV loses the watch connection.

Metrics Not Showing in Apple Fitness in Airplay to the TV I just received the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) and I was very excited to get it and also to start using Apple Fitness. I Love the watch, but when in Apple Fitness in Airplay, the metrics like heart rate, duration, etc are not displaying on the TV. They are there on my iphone 13 updated IOS 16, but not to the TV in Air Play. I unpaired the watch, uninstalled the watch somftware from my iphone, reinstalled it, and still not displaying metrics when mirroing to the TV for Apple Fitness. My goal was to move from Peloton and Hydro rowing apps to just apple fitness, but not if the metrics will not mirror. I really hope this can be resolved.
