Apple TV Bluetooth keeps dropping AirPods Max, but works with my AirPods Pro. Thoughts?

Have you checked the battery charge level?

Have you checked for sources of interference?

Have you checked for AirPod Max software updates?

Airpods constantly disconnect from AppleTV I have third generation AirPods. Apple TV is running tvOS 17.1. While watching, the connection will drop. It'll then reconnect, or say it is trying, fail, maybe reconnect, but no sound . I manually try to connect, which creates pinwheel. I've turned off Bluetooth on my iPhone and iPad because at times, that seemed to be the issue. But nope. It just drops when all possible interference is removed. So frustrating.

Prevent Apple TV from detecting or connecting to AirPods nearby? My Apple TV keeps displaying a notification that it detects my AirPods nearby. My Apple TV auto connects to my AirPods. This issue was answered by suggesting go to Settings>Blutooth>Suggest Nearby AirPods>toggle to Off. That worked for a little while and then didn't. And yes, it still indicates off. Running tvOS 16.3.2 on TV 4K 2nd Gen.
