Applied for Barclays Finance for iPhone 14 Pro Max but didn't recieve order confirmation?

Hi!

So I tried to order the iPhone 14 Pro Max through Barclays Finance. I applied for the application and got sent 2 emails from Barclays about it. They haven't approved yet but I didn't get an order confirmation from Apple regardless. They said the site crashed and I got sent back to the main page! Is this normal and meant to happen? I don't see the phone in my order page so I'm getting a little worried here.

This is a user to user forum. we cannot really help you with the purchase/pre-order of a new iPhone

A site crashing is certainly not normal or meant to happen. But when choosing to rush to place an order within the first hours of availability, I would think it should be expected that there could be some hiccups.

You said that Barclays hasn't approved the financing yet, that could very well be the problem. Maybe Apple doesn't finalize the purchase until the financing is approved?
